I finally found a job so my hours are probably going to go haywire in the coming weeks until things settle in. I haven’t done a good job of catching up on shows I started or rewatching other shows to start new seasons (although I do have Amanchu geared up and prepped for that now). So this report is gonna be fairly quick as I have only kept up with four shows through this season so far.
Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii
Still thoroughly enjoying this series as in my opinion it really gives a proper outlook of how not only a couple functions while having a job (though these couples have the added perk of working together) but also having varying levels of hobbies outside of work and how they work together despite not much if any crossover with each other. Though I have to agree with a lot of the comments I see that Koyanagi and Kabakura’s relationship is more than a little toxic overall.
Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai
A lot more vague dots are starting to fill up and more speculations in my head about what all is going on in this story are starting to become clearer. We as the viewers know that Alec serves Teresa who is a Princess set to be married to recently introduced Charles. It is also becoming quite obvious, in my opinion, Teresa has feelings for Mitsuyoshi and those are possibly being reciprocated now after the latest episode.
If this goes the cliche route I am expecting it to go I am guessing they are going to secretly/not so secretly fall in love with each other, find out that Teresa somehow had something to do with Mitsuyoshi’s parents passing, anger/resentment that makes Teresa head back home and go through with the marriage with Charles, and Mitsuyoshi, after confirming/realizing his feelings, goes and interrupts said wedding somehow.
That… or the title means more than I think and it isn’t even going to come back to any potential relationships between the cast. WE SHALL SEE!
I am still honestly on the fence with this show. Something about it just… irks me a little. Not enough to straight up drop it cold turkey but enough that getting through the episode is more a sigh of relief than an “I need to see the next episode NOW” situation. Still, with only keeping up with this and three other shows it isn’t like it is a time constraint either so I will keep up with it until either something bothers me too much to continue or it ends whichever comes first.
To be honest I think this show could be doing better overall. That said I am still enjoying it much more than I think I should be enjoying it and definitely more than 3D Kanojo. There isn’t really much else to say about this show in my opinion as it is one of those self-contained, episode to episode, sort of sit back and enjoy type of series.
And that ends what I have been keeping up with!
Hopefully, by the next quarterly report gone through Amanchu and maybe Hinamatsuri since I keep getting asked to get to that show and be able to include them in that post. I am not making any promises on that though as I am me.
